Michael L. Fleischer
Michael L. Fleischer is the Managing Partner of Links Capital Partners.  Mr. Fleischer’s areas of expertise include bridge and mezzanine lending, value-added redevelopments and workouts.  Mr. Fleischer is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, having recently appeared at conferences sponsored by Crittenden, the Information Management Network (IMN), the Bay Area Mortgage Association and the Los Angeles Mortgage Association.

Prior to founding Links Capital Partners, Mr. Fleischer was a Director at Canyon Capital Advisors, a Los Angeles based money management firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and originating new debt and equity investment opportunities for Canyon’s real estate investment funds, as well as overseeing the asset management of existing investments in Canyon’s structured real estate finance funds.   

Previously Mr. Fleischer was a practicing attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell, a New York based international law firm.  At Sullivan & Cromwell, Mr. Fleischer specialized in structuring and negotiating complex real estate opportunity fund investments, including common and preferred equity investments, recapitalizations, acquisitions, dispositions and financings.

Mr. Fleischer is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Business, the Columbia University School of Law and Columbia College.  Mr. Fleischer also studied economics at Cambridge University in England as a member of Robinson College.

Jon R. Simon
Jon R. Simon is a Managing Director of Links Realty Advisors. Mr. Simon is a recognized expert in mergers, acquisitions, capital formation, deal structuring, operations and finance in the real estate and hospitality industries. Prior to joining Links Realty Advisors, Mr. Simon held various executive management positions, including Chief Investment Officer for Destination Capital, a private equity firm specializing in late stage investments in the hospitality and marketing industries, and Chief Executive Officer and one of the principal partners of Starwood Capital’s WorldStar Resorts. As the senior officer of the WorldStar, Mr. Simon oversaw all aspects of the Company’s operations, strategic direction and execution.

Mr. Simon spent over 14 years in public accounting culminating in his position as a senior national hospitality and real estate partner at KPMG with responsibility for the Southeast United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. During his tenure at KPMG, Mr. Simon served on numerous occasions as an expert witness and a member of litigation support teams specializing in financial and forensic accounting issues. Mr. Simon’s responsibilities also included operations improvement, mergers and acquisitions, feasibility analyses and other financial services for hospitality based businesses including, hotels, beach and golf related resorts, restaurants, spas, theme parks as well as general real estate asset classes.

Mr. Simon graduated from the University of Florida, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Quantitative Methods for Business from the School of Finance in the College of Business. Mr. Simon participated in an advance partner program at KPMG for valuations and quantitative management. He has been a member of various industry groups including the Urban Land Institute, the American Hotel and Motel Association, American Resort Development Association, where he was a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee. He is a Founder and Young President of Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach Florida. Mr. Simon is a regular speaker at the NYU Hotel Industry Conference and the American Lodging Investment Summit based in California. He has spoken at other conferences such as the Hawaii Resort Conference and for the American Resort Development Association.

David A. Eisner
Mr. Eisner is a seasoned business advisor and financial executive with an extensive background in the real estate industry and private equity. He spent most of his career as a Managing Partner of professional firms Price Waterhouse and Kenneth Leventhal (now Ernst & Young).

At Price Waterhouse, he founded the firm’s real estate advisory services group and grew it from a start-up to a large national practice. Mr. Eisner has led over $5 billion of workouts and financial restructurings. Mr. Eisner has functioned as the independent auditor for public and privately owned real estate companies and provided business guidance on matters such as local market trends, current financing strategies, and relevant financial reporting and regulatory issues. He has advised on matters such as strategic and business planning, workouts and financial restructurings, and capital raising. He structured complex financial transactions, participated in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and portfolio purchases and sales.

Mr. Eisner has a B.S. degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York and is a CPA.

Brian Sedrish
Mr. Sedrish is a managing director of Links Capital Partners.  Immediately prior to his involvement with Links, Mr. Sedrish was President of the Capital Markets Group of Antares Investment Partners, a real estate development and private equity firm based in Greenwich, CT.  While at Antares, Mr. Sedrish was responsible for the sourcing of both debt and equity capital for the firm's new and existing real estate transactions as well as had primary responsibilities for the sourcing and evaluating of both equity and debt investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Antares, Mr. Sedrish was employed at Irongate Wilshire, a real estate development and investment firm based in Los Angeles, CA and at Fortress Investment Group's New York office within their Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund where he focused on originating and purchasing high yield loans in the real estate sector and opportunistically acquiring real estate related assets across all sectors and geographic regions. 

Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Sedrish worked in the New York office of Goldman Sachs' principal real estate investment group (Whitehall) where he was responsible for evaluating, analyzing and structuring complex, large-scale public and private equity investments in various real estate asset classes (including multifamily, hotel & commercial properties).  Prior to Mr. Sedrish's time at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Sedrish worked in Lazard Freres' principal real estate investment group in its New York office where he evaluated, analyzed and structured complex, large-scale private equity investments in real estate related operating companies across all industry classes.

Mr. Sedrish received a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.

Thomas Brennan
Mr. Brennan has been involved in the field of Site Location Research for more than 30 years. Mr. Brennan has worked as a consultant to numerous national and international retail companies requiring facility sales forecasting, site selection, market strategy, consumer research, and software development. Mr. Brennan has conducted extensive studies in consumer attitudes and shopping behavior in order to refine techniques in store location research. Mr. Brennan headed the Los Angeles office of Retail Systems, Inc., where his primary responsibilities included servicing retail and convenience oriented clients in the Western US. He has directed site location research and market studies for many major supermarket, including Safeway, Inc., retail and convenience oriented chains across the United States. For the past decade, Mr. Brennan has specialized in retail sales forecasting and site selection for the supermarket industry, as well as assessing the impact of new market entrants on existing retail establishments. Mr. Brennan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University. Mr. Brennan serves as a strategic consultant to Links Realty Advisors on retail real estate matters.
